Tenacity, Resourcefulness and Resilience

Throughout my life, I have been known for my tenacity, resourcefulness and resilience.

Those qualities have carried me through some of the darkest chapters of my life. They have helped me survive when others believed I would give up. They have given me the strength to rebuild, to heal and to find peace.

Now, those same qualities will be used in the pursuit of justice.

Not just for myself, but for everyone who has ever lived at the mercy of physical, emotional, psychological or financial abuse.

I know this journey will not be easy.

Seeking justice rarely is.

It requires courage, patience, determination and an unwavering commitment to the truth. It demands meticulous preparation, careful documentation and the willingness to stand firm when others would rather you remained silent.

I have spent years preserving the evidence, rebuilding my life and finding my voice.

I am no longer living in fear.

I am living with purpose.

My purpose is not to destroy lives.

My purpose is to expose the reality of abuse, to challenge the culture of silence that allows it to continue, and to encourage greater accountability from everyone who has the power to make a difference.

If my determination helps even one survivor feel less alone, one professional recognise the signs sooner, or one victim find the courage to seek help, then every step of this journey will have been worthwhile.

Justice is not driven by hatred.

It is driven by truth.

And truth, supported by evidence, has the power to change lives.

I cannot change what happened to me.

But I can choose what I do with my experience.

I choose to use it to educate.

I choose to use it to advocate.

I choose to use it to help protect others.

And I will pursue that mission with the same tenacity, resourcefulness and resilience that helped me survive in the first place.
