It won’t be because I want the relationship back or because I have any lingering romantic feelings. That chapter of my life has ended.

The reason is much simpler.

Over the past months, people have asked me what he looks like so they can recognise him if they happen to see him and let me know. They want to be able to look out for my safety and wellbeing.

For me, sharing a photograph would be about helping the people around me recognise someone they may otherwise not know. It would not be about harassment, humiliation, or encouraging anyone to confront or contact him.

My focus is, and will remain, on moving forward with my life safely, peacefully, and with the support of those who care about me.
