Gratitude for the strangers who stepped forward when I needed help most. Gratitude for family members who have shown up, supported me, and reminded me that I am not alone. Gratitude for the lawyers, gestors, estate agents, and bank managers who have gone out of their way to make a difficult process so much easier than it could have been.
Most of all, I am grateful for kind, empathetic people. The people who listen, who care, who offer help without being asked, and who make the world feel a little less heavy.
The past few days have reminded me that kindness is still everywhere. Sometimes it comes from family, sometimes from friends, and sometimes from complete strangers. But wherever it comes from, it has the power to restore hope, ease burdens, and remind us that humanity is at its best when we help one another.
To everyone who has offered support, encouragement, practical help, or simply a kind word—thank you. You may never fully realise the difference you have made, but I will never forget it. ❤️
When life becomes difficult, you discover who creates obstacles and who removes them. This week, I have been fortunate enough to meet many people whose kindness cleared the path ahead, and for that I am profoundly grateful.
