It certainly feels that way, doesn’t it? Time keeps moving forward regardless of what we do—no pauses, no rewinds.
That idea shows up in philosophy, literature, and everyday life. On one level, it’s literal: clocks keep ticking, planets keep orbiting, and aging happens whether we’re ready or not. On another level, it’s more about how we experience time—moments pass, opportunities come and go, and life keeps unfolding.
But there’s an interesting twist: while time itself doesn’t wait, our relationship to it isn’t fixed. We can choose how we spend it, what we prioritize, and how present we are in each moment. In that sense, we don’t control time—but we do shape what it means to us.
So yeah, time doesn’t wait. The real question is: what do you want to do while it’s moving?
