Faith In Human Nature

The past few days have restored my faith in human nature. People have bent over backwards to help me with my move, offering support financially, physically, and emotionally. After years of having to do everything myself, while someone else seemed determined to make every situation as awkward and difficult as possible, I had almost forgotten what genuine kindness feels like.

I feel truly blessed and comforted to discover that empathy, compassion, and humanity still exist. Sometimes, when you’ve been surrounded by negativity for too long, it’s easy to lose sight of that.

What I’ve learned is that the people around you matter. The right people lift you up instead of weighing you down. They offer a helping hand instead of creating obstacles. And sometimes, the greatest acts of kindness come not from those you’ve known for years, but from complete strangers who expect nothing in return.

These past few days have reminded me that there is still so much good in the world. Sometimes all it takes is finding the right people—or allowing them to find you—to remember that you’re not meant to carry everything alone. ❤️
