Couples Therapy

In couples work, I often say: keep family out of it, and if reconciliation is even a possibility, don’t turn separation into a fight over money. I’ve seen couples come back together because respect and care were still intact, and others separate but leave in a calmer, fairer place after doing the work. But when separation becomes about revenge, everything escalates—money becomes a weapon, families get involved, and healing takes much longer. How a relationship ends matters just as much as how it was lived.
