Despite past difficulties, there is deep gratitude.

Because what matters most is not only what has happened—but what has been built after it.

And what has been built here is stability, safety, and a true sense of belonging.

There is gratitude for the lessons learned every single day.

Lessons that were not always easy—but necessary.

Gratitude for the people I have encountered along the way, even those who have shown me exactly what I do not want to be. Because sometimes the greatest clarity comes not from kindness—but from contrast.

There is gratitude in recognising non-empathetic behaviour—something that was not always visible when I was in the midst of trauma.

Awareness brings clarity.
Clarity brings strength.

There is deep gratitude for the kind, genuine, and good people in my life—the ones who show up consistently, who communicate with honesty, and who bring peace rather than confusion.

Gratitude for waking up each morning to messages, to connection, to healthy, non-toxic interactions.

To be surrounded by people who are grounded, supportive, and real is something that cannot be taken for granted.

Always learning.
Always growing.
Always becoming more aware.

Because growth is not just about moving forward—it is about understanding, recognising, and choosing differently.

And in that, there is gratitude.
