Abuse is not limited by relationship, gender, or circumstance. It is rooted in power, control, and entitlement. Whether directed at a partner, a child, an animal, or anyone perceived as vulnerable, the pattern is the same: domination and harm.
Abusive behaviour does not exist in isolation. It spreads through households, relationships, and environments—sometimes directly, sometimes through fear, coercion, and psychological damage. Where abuse is present, no one is truly unaffected.
Recognising abuse for what it is means seeing the pattern clearly, not minimising it based on who the target is.
