When Actions and Evidence Don’t Match the Story

For a long time, I questioned my own judgement because I was repeatedly presented with stories, explanations and accusations that simply did not make sense. Over time, however, documents, reports, emails, recordings and independent evidence began to paint a very different picture.

Two years later, many of the claims that caused so much confusion can be examined against the available evidence.

The Cancer Story

I was told a story that suggested a terminal illness. Yet almost two years after receiving an all-clear from hospital, the individual remains active, healthy and enjoying life, including regularly playing padel.

The Telephone Conversation That Never Happened

I was accused of having a particular conversation with a friend that had supposedly been overheard. When I checked my records, I discovered I had been communicating through WhatsApp at the time. My phone records do not support the allegation.

The Wiped Computer

A computer was wiped and this was later denied. However, I have both the report and receipt from the computer specialist who examined the device.

Changes to a Will

Significant changes were made to a will within hours of an incident of abuse. Email correspondence between legal representatives and family members provides a timeline of events.

Security Codes Changed

Alarm and security access codes were altered, preventing me from accessing the property. Documentation from the security company confirms the changes.

Missing Bank and Credit Cards

Bank cards and credit cards disappeared from my post box. Bank records show that someone contacted the bank and reported the cards as stolen.

The Alleged Attack

An alleged attack outside the house was later described in court under oath. However, cloud recordings from the security cameras show no attack. What the footage does show is behaviour that is entirely inconsistent with the account that was later presented.

Witnesses and Family Knowledge

Some family members, including adult relatives, are aware of many of these events and the evidence surrounding them.

Why Documentation Matters

One document can be dismissed. One witness can be questioned. One memory can be challenged.

But when emails, bank records, security reports, computer reports, camera recordings and timelines all point in the same direction, a pattern begins to emerge.

The experience taught me the importance of keeping records, preserving evidence, and trusting verifiable facts over dramatic narratives.

Moving Forward

I could spend every day revisiting the past and listing every contradiction, every inconsistency and every act of cruelty. The list is long.

Instead, I choose something different.

I choose peace over drama.

I choose facts over fiction.

I choose honesty over manipulation.

Most importantly, I choose to spend the years ahead living a life built on integrity, kindness and truth, rather than remaining trapped in somebody else’s version of events.

The evidence exists. The records exist. The truth does not need constant defending.

It simply remains what it is.
