Alive, Strong, and Grateful: A Personal Thank You

There are moments in life when words can barely capture the depth of what we experience — when survival itself becomes an act of courage. Over the past few months, I faced harassment from many directions and on many levels. I will not go into the details here, because the details are not what matter most. What matters is who stood by me, howthey stood by me, and the strength we built together.

My daughter — my greatest blessing — has quite literally saved my life. She stepped up when it mattered most. With her love, her loyalty, and her incredible intuition, she saw what others could not and did what needed to be done. Thanks to her unwavering support, I am still here, stronger than ever.

I also want to acknowledge the Central Mujer in Denia, my psychologists, and the Guardia Civil in El Portet, who have been pillars of protection and understanding throughout this journey. Their presence reminded me that there is goodness in the world, even when cruelty tries to overshadow it.

Psychologically, recovering from sustained harassment is not simply about “moving on.” It’s about rebuilding trust — in yourself, in your perception of reality, and in the goodness of people around you. Trauma can shatter your inner compass, leaving you doubting your own instincts and feelings. But with the right support, healing becomes possible. It becomes probable. It becomes powerful.

Today, I stand here — alive, kicking, and embracing life to the full. I am improving every single day. My heart is open again, not naive, but wise. I am stronger now because I have seen the worst and chosen to reach for the best.

And one thing I know with absolute certainty:
I will never again allow anyone to hurt me like that.
Not emotionally. Not psychologically. Not spiritually.

To anyone reading who feels overwhelmed, betrayed, or frightened: hold on. Sometimes your lifeline is one person, one safe space, one act of kindness. Sometimes it is the sheer will to believe there is more beyond the darkness. Healing is possible. Happiness is possible. Freedom is possible.

I am living proof of that.
I am grateful beyond words.
And I am just getting started.

Thank you, from the depths of my soul, to those who saved me. You know who you are. ❤️
