🚨 If You’re Being Harassed by Relatives of an Abuser — Don’t Respond. Take Action.

If you’ve already received threats like “I’ll take you to court”“you’re ruining our family,” or any other messages designed to silence, shame, or intimidate you…

⚠️ DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY CORRESPONDENCE.
Especially if these messages have driven you to suicidal thoughts or worsened your mental health.

These tactics are calculated. They are designed to:

  • Exhaust you emotionally
  • Make you question your reality
  • Push you into submission, silence, or collapse — just when you’ve finally started to heal.

This is psychological abuse.
It is harassment.
And it is not your fault.

🛡️ What To Do Instead

  1. Save Everything.
    • Do not delete emails, messages, or voicemails — even if they are disturbing.
    • Screenshots, phone records, and copies of printed communications are all evidence.
    • Keep a written log with dates and brief descriptions of incidents.
  2. Visit Your Local Police Station (Guardia Civil or Policía Nacional).
    • Bring all evidence with you.
    • File a formal complaint (denuncia) for continued harassment and psychological abuse — especially if there is already a restraining order in place against the original abuser.
  3. Include Medical Evidence.
    • If you have sought help from a doctor, psychologist, or hospital due to mental health deterioration or suicidal thoughts related to this harassment, take those reports with you.
    • Medical documentation shows the real and serious impact of these actions.
  4. Seek Protection and Report Early.
    • Don’t wait until it escalates into something even more dangerous.
    • These people rely on isolation and fear to control you. The earlier you report, the safer you become.

💬 The Truth:

These methods are strategic tools of intimidation.
They are meant to wear you down until you give up —
Just when you’re beginning to rise again.

Let them underestimate your strength.
Let the law carry your truth.
Let your healing become your act of resistance.

💛 If you’re reading this and feel afraid or overwhelmed:

You are not alone.
Your voice matters.
Your truth is valid.
And there are people — police, therapists, support workers — who will stand beside you.
