They can tell as many lies as they like.
They can twist the truth, rewrite the past, and try to paint me in the darkest shades of their own shadows.
But here’s what they didn’t count on:
👉 I’ve done the work.
Not the surface stuff — the deep work. The kind that cracks you open, makes you question everything, and then slowly helps you rebuild with truth, grace, and courage.
👉 I have a trauma-informed team around me.
People who understand. Who don’t gaslight, don’t minimize, and don’t flinch when I speak my truth. They see me, they hear me, and they walk beside me — not above me.
👉 I understand my nervous system now.
I know when I’m being triggered. I’ve learned the difference between fear and intuition. I can spot manipulation by the way my body tightens or my heart races. My body speaks — and finally, I listen.
👉 I know how to regulate, re-center, and rise.
That’s the key they never held. They banked on my confusion. They relied on my silence. They thought I’d drown in the trauma they caused. But they didn’t realize — I learned to breathe underwater.
Their tactics?
They don’t work anymore.
Because the version of me they tried to break is long gone.
And in her place stands someone wiser, calmer, more grounded — and unshakably strong.
To anyone out there still on the healing path:
Don’t stop. Don’t give up.
You’ll reach this place too — where the lies no longer penetrate and the past no longer defines you.
Let them talk.
Let them spin their stories.
You know your truth.
And truth has a quiet power that doesn’t need to scream.
