💖 What Love Actually Feels Like Now
✨ What I Thought Love Was vs. What It Actually Feels Like Now ✨
(A personal journey from imbalance to emotional safety.)
What I Thought Love Was:
- Doing everything and still being told it’s not enough
- Walking on eggshells to keep the peace
- Being blamed, criticised, or put down
- Paying half — but carrying 90% of the work
- Being degraded or having my family mocked
- Giving until I was empty
- Surviving, not thriving
What Love Actually Feels Like Now:
- Being cooked for and pampered without having to beg for it
- Sharing chores and making a home together
- Gentle words, kind eyes, warm hands
- No insults, no shaming, no control
- My family is respected, not resented
- Intimacy is safe, not pressured
- My nervous system is finally resting
Love used to feel like a job I could never clock out of.
Now it feels like a place I can exhale into. 🌿
Where I am cared for, cherished, and seen.
To the woman still carrying 90%:
You are not asking for too much.
You are simply asking the wrong person.
You deserve shared effort, soft love, and emotional safety.
And it’s not only possible — it’s waiting.
Share this if you’re reclaiming what real love feels like. 💫
