Be brave and strong

If you find yourself involved in organized crime and want to escape in the UK, there are several resources and organizations that can provide assistance and support. Here are some options to consider:

  1. National Crime Agency (NCA): The NCA is the UK’s lead agency for tackling serious and organized crime. They have a dedicated website with information on reporting crime, including organized crime, and accessing support services. You can contact them anonymously through their reporting hotline or submit information online.
  2. Crimestoppers: Crimestoppers is an independent charity that allows people to report crime anonymously. They provide a safe and confidential way to report information about organized crime or other criminal activity. You can contact Crimestoppers by phone or online.
  3. Local Police: Your local police force can provide assistance and support if you want to leave organized crime. You can contact them directly or visit your local police station to speak with an officer in person. They may be able to offer protection, advice, and access to support services.
  4. National Referral Mechanism (NRM): The NRM is a framework for identifying and supporting victims of human trafficking and modern slavery. If you have been exploited or coerced into participating in organized crime, you may be eligible for support through the NRM. You can be referred to the NRM by a support organization, the police, or another agency.
  5. Local Support Services: There are numerous organizations and charities across the UK that provide support to individuals involved in criminal activity who want to change their lives. These organizations offer services such as counseling, housing assistance, education and training programs, and help with finding employment. You can search online or contact your local council for information on support services available in your area.
  6. Community Rehabilitation Companies (CRCs): CRCs are responsible for supervising offenders serving community sentences and providing rehabilitation services to reduce reoffending. If you have been convicted of a crime and are on probation, your probation officer may be able to refer you to support services to help you leave organized crime.
  7. Religious or Faith-Based Organizations: Many religious or faith-based organizations offer support and guidance to individuals who want to leave a life of crime behind. They may provide counseling, mentoring, and practical assistance to help you make positive changes in your life.
  8. Citizens Advice: Citizens Advice offers free, confidential advice on a wide range of issues, including legal matters, housing, benefits, and debt. They can help you understand your rights and options for leaving organized crime and accessing support services.

It’s important to remember that seeking help is a brave and positive step towards leaving organized crime and building a better future for yourself. There are people and organizations across the UK ready to support you on your journey to a safer, healthier, and law-abiding life.
