Control

Do not take your finger off the pulse just because you are on holiday. Their aim is often to provoke, to press familiar buttons, and to create disruption—especially during moments meant for rest, celebration, or peace.

Do not go there emotionally.
You have lived this. You have breathed it. You know the pattern.

Recovery does not mean disengagement from reality; it means controlled awareness.
Log what needs to be logged.
Collect the data.
Preserve the evidence.

Then step back.

Deal with it on your return, when you are grounded, supported, and clear-headed. You have already spent decades mastering the skill of holding it together until the appropriate time. This is no different—except now, it is done with intention, not survival.

Stay calm.
Stay composed.
Stay safe.

Save it for later—when it can be handled properly, strategically, and without cost to your peace.
