It’s been so many years since I could experience time away free from abuse — free from moaning about money, free from “no, we can’t afford it,” free from being told I was spoilt, free from insults, control, or the silent treatment.

My mother always taught me to go for the best and if you couldn’t afford wait until you can. So here we are affording it with no pressure and no being told NO.

Today there is only peace.
Calm.
Laughter.

Doing the things we have always wanted to do as a family, without tension or fear, without having to justify joy. This isn’t extravagance — it’s healing. It’s what life is meant to feel like.

Pure, unadulterated luxury isn’t about money.
