Some men naturally seem to have emotional intelligence, kindness, and respect built into how they treat women, while others either never learned it, don’t value it, or choose to ignore it.
A few reasons behind the difference:
- Upbringing & role models – Men who grew up seeing respect, care, and equality modeled in their family often carry that into their relationships. Those who saw neglect, control, or disrespect may copy that instead.
- Emotional maturity – Some men develop empathy and self-awareness, while others stay stuck in ego, pride, or entitlement.
- Values & priorities – A man who truly values connection will naturally treat a woman with care; one who only values control or personal gain often won’t.
- Willingness to learn – Some men are open to feedback and growth, while others dig in their heels and repeat the same mistakes.
It’s not about “all men” but about the individual — some have it, some don’t, and some could learn if they wanted to.
