I am finally free to do all the things I have always wanted to do but was never “allowed” to.
Yesterday, during a powerful session with my psychologist, we went through the dreams and goals I’ve carried in my heart for years—the very ones I was told were “stupid ideas,” the ones I was mocked for, the ones I was told I could never achieve.
And yet… I did achieve things. I worked hard. I made a living. I kept a home running. I managed responsibilities others never even noticed. But instead of being supported, I was controlled and manipulated into living a life that wasn’t mine.
Yesterday, I was reminded of who I really am—the me that existed before all the gaslighting, before the barriers, before the constant “No.” I was reminded that my mother was a successful businesswoman, and that drive and determination are still within me. That is my heritage. That is my strength.
For years I heard nothing but “No, no, no.” No support. No encouragement. No belief in me.
But now? Everything has changed.
Now it’s “Yes, yes, yes.”
Yes to my choices.
Yes to my path.
Yes to my destiny.
I feel confident. I feel inspired. I feel capable. I will succeed—and this time, no one will stop me.
