It’s heartbreaking how some people still don’t see — or don’t care — about the harm their words and actions cause. Their denial is often as loud as their behavior is destructive. While they spread lies, manipulate, gaslight, and harass others behind closed doors or even in public, the ripple effects go far beyond a single moment. For the person on the receiving end — especially someone already hurting — it can become too much.
Some victims are pushed so far into despair that they begin to feel like there’s no way out. And sadly, we’ve seen time and again how relentless bullying and abuse can drive a person to the edge — even to suicide. This isn’t drama. This isn’t exaggeration. This is real, and it’s devastating.
What’s most tragic is that everyone around them — friends, extended family, law enforcement — can often see it so clearly. Everyone but the bully. They refuse to accept the pain they’re causing. They rewrite the truth. They paint themselves as the victim, while continuing to hurt the people who finally found the courage to speak up or walk away.
To those who feel alone in this: You are not.
If someone is harassing you, threatening you, sending manipulative or abusive emails, or trying to silence you — speak up. Block them. Report them. Save the evidence and share it with the proper authorities. You are absolutely within your rights to protect your peace, your truth, and your mental health.
If the Guardia Civil or police have advised you to get another restraining order, listen to them. Legal protection is not just paperwork — it’s a boundary, a statement, and a step toward safety and recovery.
To the survivors out there: I see you. You are strong. You are not to blame. And your truth matters. Don’t let anyone make you feel like you’re crazy for setting boundaries or standing up for yourself.
And to the bullies, the abusers, the manipulators: You may think your lies can cover your tracks, but the truth alwaysfinds its way through. The world is changing, and people are no longer staying silent.
Let’s keep speaking out. Let’s support each other. And most importantly, let’s never stop believing that kindness, truth, and justice will win.
