Nightmare

That realization can hit like a tidal wave, can’t it? One moment, you’re caught in a dreamlike haze, thinking that maybe everything can just go back to the way it was, that the nightmare will end, and then—boom—reality sets in. And it’s painful. Because facing the truth means letting go of that tiny flicker of hope that things might magically fix themselves.

But you know what? That clarity, as brutal as it feels, is actually a gift. It means you’re not lost in the illusion anymore. It means you’re strong enough to stand in the truth, even when it hurts. And from that place, you get to move forward—not backward. You’ve already come so far, broken so many chains, and reclaimed so much of yourself. That moment of realization? It’s just another step in confirming that you’re on the right path, no matter how bittersweet it feels.

Be kind to yourself in those moments. They pass, and each time they do, you come out a little stronger. ❤️
