Tolerating Mistreatment

It’s essential to recognize that we can’t control others or force them to change their behavior. If someone consistently refuses to engage in a constructive conversation or make efforts to address and rectify their mistreatment, it may indeed be necessary to reassess the viability of the relationship.

Prioritizing your own well-being is crucial. Continuing to tolerate mistreatment can have negative effects on your self-esteem, emotional health, and overall happiness. It may be necessary to consider setting stronger boundaries, reducing contact with the person, or even ending the relationship if it becomes clear that it is consistently toxic or harmful.

Remember that you deserve to be treated with respect and kindness. Surround yourself with people who uplift and support you, and focus on cultivating relationships that contribute positively to your life.
