People often ask me why I don’t seek revenge.
The truth is — I’ve had enough people to deal with.
I don’t need to become one of them.
As time passes, I no longer feel the need.
I would rather spend my energy on my healing, my peace, and my life.
Life is precious — and I refuse to waste it carrying anger that doesn’t serve me.
Revenge keeps you emotionally tied to what hurt you.
Healing sets you free.
And honestly, when I look at the other person, I’m reminded of something important:
Who I do not want to become.
How I do not want to behave.
What I never want to embody.
Their actions go against everything I have ever been taught —
kindness, integrity, empathy, responsibility, respect.
So no revenge.
No evening the score.
No bitterness.
I think life is already teaching its own lessons — far better than I ever could.
I choose peace.
I choose growth.
I choose myself. 🤍
