Because here’s the truth:

The most transformative love isn’t the one that makes your heart race.
It isn’t fireworks or grand gestures or dramatic highs.

The most transformative love is the one that makes your nervous system feel safe.

When someone can hold you when you’re dysregulated — when fear, anger, grief, or anxiety flood your system — and you can hold them in the same way, that is love.

Not because it’s easy.
Not because it’s perfect.
Not because it’s always convenient.

Because it’s always real.
It’s steady. It’s grounding.
It’s the kind of love that rewires your nervous system to trust, to rest, to feel whole.

And after reclaiming my home, my life, my space, I finally see it clearly: love isn’t about control.
It’s about safety.
It’s about freedom.
It’s about knowing you belong — fully, completely, without fear.
