When “I Care” Doesn’t Match Silence

It’s not the grand words that prove someone cares.
It’s the daily actions.
The check-ins. The effort. The communication.

When someone says “I care” but disappears into silence, it creates confusion. Because real care doesn’t vanish. Real care doesn’t leave you guessing.

Silence speaks louder than promises.
And sometimes, it screams the truth:
They care about the idea of you, not the reality of showing up for you.

Caring isn’t passive. It’s active.
If they can’t speak, reach, or respond, then their “I care” is just noise.
