The Self-Destruct Button

The Self-Destruct Button
Some people press it without flinching.
They damage connections beyond repair—
Not by accident,
But with intention.
No apology, no effort,
Just a trail of emotional wreckage
And a cold back tunnel

This isn’t love.
It’s vengeance.
It’s throwing fuel on a fire,
Rubbing salt into wounds that were already bleeding.

And I’ve been here before.
Different faces,
Same destruction.
Same story on repeat.

Clearly, there’s more healing for me to do—
More roots to untangle,
More patterns to break.
Because I’m done attracting pain wrapped in false promises.
I want peace, not punishment.
Real connection, not ego games.

So today, I give thanks—
To the ones who don’t play with hearts.
To the man who gives solid advice with no strings attached,
No hidden agenda,
Just truth and care.
You know who you are.
Thank you.
