A Little Peace After the Storm
Well… that’s enough drama for one day.
I’ve done what I needed to do.
I’ve said what needed to be said.
And now —
I’m clocking out of chaos and clocking back into peace.
Because healing doesn’t always look like deep soul work.
Sometimes it looks like:
- Swimming in cool, salty water
- Laughing with your dog as they chase butterflies
- Staring at the waves and remembering how strong you are
- Planning something comforting for dinner
- Choosing to close the chapter on today — with tenderness, not tension
☀️ Happiness Isn’t a Grand Arrival — It’s a Gentle Return
Today reminded me how far I’ve come.
That even when life tries to drag me back, I no longer live there.
I visit for a moment, handle what’s mine,
and then I come back —
to me.
To stillness.
To my soft, safe space.
To people who love me for who I really am.
To a life I’m gently rebuilding, one peaceful choice at a time.
🐾 What’s on the Horizon?
More saltwater.
More dog walks.
More kindness.
More gratitude.
More “no thank you” to nonsense.
More “yes please” to joy.
💭 Final Thought
Today had its thorns —
But tomorrow promises flowers.
And I’m looking forward to planting them. 🌸
Back to my joy.
Back to my rhythm.
Back to the life I chose, not the one I escaped.
And dinner? Something delicious.
Because joy is made in small, sweet moments.
Here’s to tomorrow — the return of happiness.
I’ll be waiting for it, towel in hand, soul wide open.
