The proverb
“Fall seven times, stand up eight”
is a Japanese proverb (七転び八起き, Nanakorobi yaoki), often associated with resilience and perseverance. It embodies the idea that no matter how many times life knocks you down, what truly matters is your ability to get back up and keep going.
The message is clear: setbacks and failures are part of the journey, but persistence and determination lead to success.
This proverb is often used as a source of encouragement, reminding us that resilience is key to overcoming challenges and adversity. Each time you rise after falling, you become stronger and more capable of facing future difficulties.
