Morning Dread Is a Red Flag

If you wake up every morning wondering “what the hell am I doing?”, pay attention. Your body is trying to tell you something.

  • Your nervous system knows: chronic anxiety, dread, and restlessness are warning signals.
  • This isn’t normal: healthy relationships and life choices don’t make you feel trapped, confused, or guilty every day.
  • Your mind and body are aligned: that morning dread is your intuition screaming, “Something is off. Pay attention.”

What to Do:

  • Listen: Notice the pattern. Journaling helps.
  • Assess: Are your relationships, work, or routines aligned with your safety and values?
  • Act: Set boundaries, seek support, and take steps toward freedom.

Waking up anxious and lost is not weakness — it’s a signal to reclaim your power. Trust it. Act on it.
