Every single message, email, or call log from the abuser’s family should be passed on to both your lawyer and court-appointed psychologist to be included in your case.
Why This is Important:
- Legal Protection:
- Threats, blackmail, or harassment can be used as evidence to support your case.
- If financial coercion is involved, the court may invalidate any unfair agreements.
- Your lawyer can file a denuncia (formal complaint) for harassment or intimidation.
- Psychological Assessment:
- The court-appointed psychologist will consider this ongoing pressure as part of the abuse.
- It helps demonstrate how third-party harassment is affecting your mental health and decision-making.
- Can strengthen your case for protective measures (restraining orders, no-contact orders, etc.).
What You Should Do:
✅ Save Everything – Take screenshots, print messages, record voicemail threats.
✅ Forward All Evidence to Your Lawyer & Psychologist – They need to have a full picture.
✅ Report to the Court & Police if Necessary – If the threats escalate, they should be formally reported.
✅ Do Not Engage with Them – Responding may be used against you or escalate the situation.
